Polar explorer and musher, Sébastien dos Santos Borgès has built his life around his pack of sled dogs, mainly shelter dogs. For the last race of his career, he decided to take on the Iditarod, the most difficult dog sled race in the world. In order to take up this 1600km challenge across Alaska, without any assistance, he will have to compose the most efficient team possible and immerse himself in the wilderness. Among the 14 dogs who will take the start, some will discover the harshness of the northern Wild for the first time. From the mountains of the Jura to the Bering Sea through the forests of Canada, this adventure between a man and his dogs will mark them forever.
